The Solomon Islands government is to advertise the posts of all Permanent Secretaries as the contracts of current holders of the positions are due to expire at the end of June.
The Government Communication Unit quotes the Secretary to the Prime Minister and Cabinet, saying all the permanent secretary positions in all the Ministries and Departments will be advertised.
Fred Ganate says all positions will be advertised in the Solomon Star newspaper starting next week until the closing date of June the 9th.
Mr Ganate says the government would like to encourage all eligible Solomon Islanders to make themselves available for the positions, especially during this period of recovery and rebuilding the country.
