The U.S. Department of Interior deputy assistant secretary for Insular Areas, Papali'i David B. Cohen, says today's Flag Day ceremony in American Samoa

pays tribute to Samoan soldiers serving or who have served in conflicts around the world.

David Cohen says all Americans should be truly grateful for the tremendous contribution and sacrifice that the people of American Samoa have made to the War on Terror.

He said America's smallest territory of American Samoa has made the largest sacrifice in the current effort to fight terror and promote the right of people to govern themselves.
