The American Samoan House of Representatives and the Senate have come to an agreement over the LBJ Hospital loan bill.

In the second conference over the loan bill, the senators agreed to restore the loan amount back to 10 million US dollars.

The Senate had reduced the loan amount to 8.5 million earlier.

The additional 1.5 million will be used as a local match fund for the federal Medicaid program under which the LBJ will receive an additional two million this fiscal year.
