Fiji's rugby 7's legend - Waisale Serevi was the people's choice as he took out the FASANOC 2005 Sports Personality of the year award last night.
The award is decided by a public voting system.
Serevi beat former Fiji Netball captain and Silver Fern, Vilimaina Davu and Japan-based judoka Sisilia Naisiga for the top prize.
It's the first time in history that one person has made a clean sweep of all major sports awards in one year - Serevi was also the 2005 sportsman of the year and was inducted into the Fiji Sports hall of fame.
