The Caretaker Minister of Finance in Solomon Islands, Peter Boyers, will tomorrow outline his plans for a simpler, fairer business tax system.
In his lunch time address to the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Honiara, he will explain how every business will pay a single, low rate of tax.
Mr Boyers says this will save businesses from high tax rates and complex exemptions.
The speech forms part of the consultations on tax reform that are currently being conducted by the Department of Finance.
