Forecasters in Nadi have cancelled cyclone warnings for Tonga and Niue.
Latest reports place Cyclone Urmil 320 kilometres west south west of Niue and some 200 kilometres southeast of Tonga.
Strong wind warnings remain in place for Tonga, Niue and Tuvalu.
