Patrons at a cinema in Samoa's capital, Apia had to make a quick exit on Sunday after a heavy downpour flooded the venue.
Many of the audience had to leave their vehicles in the floods as rising waters from blocked drains swept down the street.
The Apia Metrological Service has issued flood warnings for the low lying areas of Apia for the rest of this week.
Yesterday afternoon the national Weather Service in American Samoa also issued a flood watch for all of the territory for the rest of the week.
