Papua New Guinea gas distributor, Origin Energy, has opened a new depot in Goroka.
Origin's national sales and marketing Manager Collen Evans says the new depot is expected to supply more than 300 tonnes of gas in the first year of operations and gas sales to the public will be made through local pump stations.
The company plans to open two more depots at other locations in the next six months.
