The leader of new political party, the Samoa Party, Su'a Rimoni Ah Chong, says the Samoa Government has handled the doctors strike badly.

He has told the Samoa Observer the government has failed to handle the dispute professionally and amicably.

The doctors yesterday vowed to continue their strike which has now been in progress for two months.

Su'a says the doctors grievances have been neglected for years and Cabinet was treating the dispute with the striking doctors as a game to be won instead of a problem that needs to be solved.

He says he found Cabinet's response to the doctors' demands unbelievable and described the ministers as irresponsible.

The former auditor general says it is their collective responsibility to resolve the doctor's strike.
