Hundreds of votes have been registered in an internet competition to find this year's Miss South Pacific.
The pageant has begun in Tonga and will finish on Friday night.
Candidates from seven island groups are competing to be Miss Internet, on a website hosted by the Tongan magazine, Matangi Tonga.
Currently Monika Fiafialoto, Miss Wallis and Futuna, and Miss Tonga, Nancy Maloni, have gained a substantial lead over rivals from New Caledonia, the Cook Islands, Samoa, American Samoa and Niue.
