Vanuatu Government reshuffle likely

Vanuatu's Prime Minister Ham Lini is rumoured to be planning a

cabinet reshuffle.

The Independent newspaper reports that Mr Lini's National United Party party has agreed to the changes after the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding with several parties in the governing coalition.

The paper reports that the Greens leader, Moana Carcasses, will become deputy prime minister, replacing Sato Kilman.

Foreign Affairs and the Sports portfolio are also expected to go the Greens Confederation which has become one of the largest parties in the government.
