The Special Political Advisor for the newest political party in Samoa, the Samoa Party, says the majority of voters in Samoa want a change of government.

While in Pago Pago to plan a rally for their party later this month, Vui Masina Mua said while the usual tactics of bribery and treating had won votes for HRPP in past elections it won't work when Samoans go to the polls next year.

"I believe that about ninety per cent of the whole nation agrees to a change of government. The Samoan people are getting sick and tired of it, and with all the activities that are happening in Samoa, with the doctors' strike and so forth, I think Samoa is ready for a change of government."

The Samoa Party, is headed by Su'a Rimoni Ah Chong, who was sacked as Chief Auditor after he released a report on corruption among cabinet members.
