Princess Anne is due to arrive in Papua New Guinea today for a one-day official visit.
She will be welcomed with a 21 gun salute at Port Moresby's international airport as Steven Harvey reports.
"The Princess Royal will have a taste of PNG's diverse culture, with four students in traditional attire representing the four regions of PNG, and a military guard of honour, at the airport."
Princess Anne is representing the Queen at the invitation of Prime Minister Sir Michael Somare on the occasion of the country's independence celebrations. .
