All patients have been moved back to the partially burnt Marshall Islands Hospital from several care centres in Majuro.

Fire swept through the pharmaceutical and medical supply warehouses and housekeeping facilities last Friday.

The Chief Secretary, Robert Muller, says several buildings, including the Maternity Ward, TB isolation unit and kitchen have been restored.

The outpatient clinic will remain closed until medical supplies are restocked.

The fire destroyed about three months worth medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.

The Majuro facility is one of only two hospitals in the Marshall Islands.
