Australian rugby league star, Luke Ricketson, who has been named captain of the Prime Minister's XIII says the players will be emotionally moved by their trip to Papua New Guinea later this month.
The match against the PNG Kumuls is part of the country's 30th independence celebrations.
Ricketson has postponed his retirement to lead the Australian representative side in a match against PNG and on a visit to raise awareness of AIDS.
He says it is an honour to end his career captaining a Prime Minister's XIII for such an important cause.
Ricketson says places like PNG have been ravaged by AIDS and hopefully this trip will help to enlighten people about the disease.
