Samoa's opposition leader Le Mamea Ropati is demanding an answer from government on who holds the remaining two percent of shares in the new joint venture airline, Polynesia Blue.

The soon to be launched airline is a joint venture between Polynesian Airlines and budget Australian carrier Virgin Blue, who would each own 49-percent of the shares.

Le Mamea says that the government should disclose this information.

The new airline will launch services in October and will begin accepting bookings this month.
