Talks are ongoing between the governments of Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea on the possibility of more private companies in PNG expanding to Solomon Islands.
Prime minister Sir Allan Kemakeza confirmed this after meeting with PNG's prime minister.
He says currently some investors are eyeing the Solomons for the expansion of their companies while others have already started.
They include the Credit Corp, New Britain Palm Oil company and another wanting to set up a five star hotel in Honiara.
