French Polynesian president visits Japan

The French Polynesian President, Oscar Temaru, has flown to Japan for a five-day visit.

During his stay, his delegation will look at tuna farming and processing.

Mr Temaru also visited similar facilities in New Zealand and in Australia in the past few weeks.

His delegation includes assembly members from the Tuamotu archipelago which is being considered for a major tuna fish farm.
