Reports from Western Australia say six soldiers from Tonga and Fiji remain in hospital after a truck crash in Kimberley.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reports a group of 16 were travelling along a remote gravel track early on Sunday morning when their vehicle rolled over.

The members of the Tongan Defence Service, Royal Fijian Military and Australian Army were taking part in a community assistance programme, helping to build facilities at remote Aboriginal communities.
