Hawaiian Airlines has officially emerged from bankruptcy.

The airline has completed Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganisation.

The carrier's chairman of the board says Hawaiian Airlines can now move forward without the costs and burdens of bankruptcy and is well-positioned to take advantage of opportunities as they arise.

Hawaiian came out of bankruptcy with 60 million US dollars in debt notes and a 50 million dollar bank credit line from Wells Fargo Foothill.
