The Solomon Islands Prime Minister, Sir Allen Kemakeza, has made a public appeal for people to come forward if they have information about letters circulating which contain threats to the country's leaders and their families.
Sir Allen says his Government won't be intimidated by a handful of people who he says are trying to divert the attention of the police.
He says the good citizens of Solomon islands deplore such threats and he urges those with knowledge of the origin of the letters to contact the nearest police station.
