Building work has begun on the new headquarters of the Tuna Commission in Pohnpei, the capital of the Federated States of Micronesia.
The project that is being funded by China, and the designer, Aurio Saimon, expects the headquarters to be finished by the end of the year.
Inaugurated in December, the Tuna Commission is mandated to manage the fish stocks on the high seas outside of the member nations' exclusive economic zones.
