BP South West Pacific has been notified that it has been tentatively selected to enter into contract negotiations with the American Samoa Government to manage and operate the Tank Farm in Utulei.

Chief Procurement Officer Seui Laau notified the company's General Manager Isikeli Tuituku by letter of his decision.

He says the Source Evaluation Board had recommended that the proposal submitted by BP South West Pacific is responsive and advantageous to the Government.

Seui says the Office of Petroleum Management would be in contact with Mr Tuituku with respect to the final contract negotiations prior to any formal award or contract.

The only other company that submitted a bid was Petroleum Services Inc.
