A Tropical Cyclone has formed between Tuvalu and Tokelau.
Cyclone Percy is intensifying and moving in a east south easterly direction towards Tokelau.
It is carrying winds of about 65 km/h with gusts of just over 100 km/h.
On its current track it is expected to bring damaging gale force winds or stronger to Tokelau in the next 36 hours.
