Fuel prices to fall in Samoa

12:26 pm on 31 January 2005

Samoa's government is cutting fuel prices because of an increased amount of stored petroleum.

The administration in Apia, is also citing favourable global weather patterns and increased oil production by the OPEC cartel.

From February, the local retail price for a litre of petrol will drop by four per cent.

The price of diesel is to go down by three per cent.

And kerosene also drops three per.
