A third MP has defected from the Vanuatu government a week after its formation.
Paul Telukluk has resigned allegedly out of frustration after failing to get a portfolio in Prime Minister Serge Vohor's cabinet.
Mr Telukluk has now joined the opposition benches.
His resignation follows that of Arnold Prasad and Thomas Nentu.
Meanwhile the speaker of parliament, Josias Moli, has denied a report that the opposition had already lodged a motion of no confidence against Mr Vohor's administration.
