Fiji's trade minister Kaliopate Tavola has predicted the New Zealand trade mission to Fiji will be a huge success.

Mr Tavola's counterpart Jim Sutton is in Fiji leading a business delegation.

Mr Tavola says he believes the sixteen delegates will leave Fiji happy:

"The business people are coming with the delegation will find a lot of business here, because the economy has picked up here compared to yesterday. And it will look all over the place the signs of economic activity is going up."
