The Head of the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands has hailed as a success, the recent visit by mission principals to eight of the ten participating countries.

The Special Coordinator of RAMSI, Nick Warner, who led a delegation to the regional countries, contributing to the mission has reaffirmed their governments' commitment to the work in Solomon Islands.

"Every country we went to, every government we spoke to, they remain committed, their troops, their police, their civilian advisors, will remain part of the RAMSI programme, I think, for years to come."

Mr Warner says the commitment by regional countries has been the success of the mission.
