A Korean fishing vessel docked in American Samoa's Pago Pago harbour came close to exploding early this morning, after a fire broke out on board.
Firefighters called to the scene were able to put out the flames, which started on the vessel's deck, before they spread to the engine room.
Crew members fled from the fire on the boat which had three other vessels tied up alongside.
