Palau Micronesia Air has announced its first Boeing 737-300 is due to arrive on the twentieth of June.
The fledgling airline has seen several dates for the plane's arrival and the commencement of flights come and go.
Airline executives have reported that the airline will start flying in July.
With its first plane, Palau Micronesia plans to fly four flights per week to Guam, and two flights per week to the neighboring islands of Yap, Chuuk and Ponphei.
It also plans to use that plane for one flight per week direct from Palau to Saipan, three flights to Manila and two weekly flights to Darwin in northern Australia.
