The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas has suffered its first casualty in the war in Iraq.
31-year old Eddie Chen from Saipan was killed in Iraq on April the 4th when his unit was hit by rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire.
Army Public Information officer, John Guerrero, says Chen was one of eight soldiers killed during an attack in Baghdad.
