Polynesian Air asked to take over route to Manu'a in American Samoa

Polynesian Airlines has been asked to provide flights to Manu'a in American Samoa, when Inter Islands Airways suspends flights at the end of this month.

Inter Islands has had to halt services while its aircraft under go annual inspections.

A spokesman for the airline has also said that the company is being re-organised.

There is no indication as to how long Inter Island Airways will be out of action
