Samoa to send second contingent of police to Solomons

Samoa's Cabinet has approved sending a second police contingent to join the Regional Assistance mission to Solomon Islands.

The team of ten officers will be station in the Solomons for six months.

The squad is made up of one superintendent, two inspectors and seven sergeants.

Their ranks have been raised temporarily to comply with United Nations requirements.
