There are at least six new witnesses in American Samoa now willing to testify in the refiled murder case against Marlon Uli.
The murder charges relate to the shooting of Maalona Felisi in Malaeloa in November last year.
The 23-year old's case was dismissed last month amid reluctance and unreliability of witnesses called to testify.
Uli was arrested over the weekend.
Another defendant is reported to be under arrest for allegedly hindering the prosecution.
