The Prime Minister of Samoa has added his voice to those calling for more support for island nations at the International Rugby Board.
Country's such as Samoa, Tonga and Fiji say they are struggling financially and the issue will be taken up at a meeting of the IRB next month.
But the Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele, says his country's team needs more exposure and competition.
He told TV One that he hopes current support is not merely a matter of political posturing:
"Talks are great at a time the World Cup is on and I do hope that these talks will be translated into action."

The smaller rugby playing nations are also concerned at the loss of players to the rugby super powers.
