American Samoa's LBJ hospital today begins charging for some services that had been free.

The fees for such services as X-Rays, some ultrasounds, and blood tests, will cost up to 40 US dollars for non residents and half that for residents..

The new, so called facility use fees, have been advertised in the local media for the past week.
