Three returning Samoan scholarship students who have been studying in China are now in New Zealand, spending the mandatory 10-day period under SARS-related health supervision.
Aiono Mose Sua, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, says Samoa's consul in Auckland are supervising the students during the SARS-related stopover.
Aiono says the students stay is at the courtesy of New Zealand.
Recently World Health Organisation consultants found space allocated to deal with potential SARS cases in Samoa as inadequate, however they were otherwise optimistic about measures taken to protect the community.
