The owner of the Vaimaanga Hotel in the Cook Islands, Pa Ariki, has extended the deadline for details to be finalised by New Zealand developers who want to take over and complete the property.
Pa Ariki says the deadline extension for Covington Corporation is unconditional.
She says there are two other New Zealand companies that have expressed interest in purchasing the Vaimaanga Hotel.
Covington Corporation completed a due diligence inspection in February and is now understood to be commissioning an Environmental Impact Assessment on the proposed completion of the hotel.
