Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, serving the country’s largest and most vibrant city, returns to the concert stage in July with a top local line-up.

During lockdown the orchestra shared a wide variety of online performances and activities to help people stay connected to the orchestra and each other. Over 2.8 million people across the globe viewed the Thursday night Encore Livestreams - co-hosted and with sound production by RNZ Concert, as well as at-home performances and special video content made for kids and families.
The orchestra is looking forward to sharing music with live audiences again in a revised 2020 season, kicking off with some of our greatest musicians: New Zealand pianist Michael Houstoun plays Beethoven and a world premiere fanfare by local composer John Psathas.
RNZ Concert will broadcast the performances to all New Zealanders. Here's what is confirmed so far:
