It’s not that long since New Zealand and Australia played together... Surprisingly enough, cricket did happen at Gallipoli, most famously as a decoy while forces quietly quit the peninsula.

No sporting spectacles here – but a moving show of musical strength and solidarity for our lost, not forgotten, soldiers. We have a special concert recorded at the commemoration of the 2015 Centenary of the Galipoli campaign by the ANZAC forces. For this concert, the New Zealand and Sydney Symphony Orchestra both performed the same programme with newly commissioned music for the Centenary by New Zealand Michael Williams and Australian James Ledger.
