Etgar Keret is a frequent contributor to The New Yorker and This American Life.  He talks about his memoir and expand on the trials and tribulations of being a parent in Tel Aviv. Damien Wilkins who is the director of the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University, chats with Keret as he reflects on a piece of work that spans the birth of Keret's first son to the death of his father.

Etgar tells many tales of how his son has influenced his perception on the world. Including an angry confrontation with a taxi driver yelling at his three year old son which conjures up many thoughts about the concept of apologising.
