Emergency services are responding to a truck fire reported around 4:50pm Saturday on the Waikato Expressway, Taupiri, just before the Taupiri off-ramp.
No one is reported to be injured.
The north and south bound lanes were closed while Fire and Emergency crews tended to the fire, and motorists were advised to expect delays and use an alternative route where possible.
But, just before 6pm on Saturday, police said the lanes had fully reopened.
