A man has been found dead after snorkelling at Riversdale Beach in Wairarapa on Thursday.
Police said the man went snorkelling off the coast on Thursday afternoon and was reported missing that evening.
A search of the area was then conducted by Police Search and Rescue, Surf Life Saving, Wairarapa Helicopters, Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The death would be referred to the coroner, police said.
