Independent review to explore future of local government

The Local Government Minister, Nanaia Mahuta, has today announced a wide-ranging independent review of local government, which will consider what our councils do, how they do it and how they pay for it. The review will focus on how the system needs to evolve over the next thirty years. The Minister spoke to Meriana Johnsen.
